At Wayne Oliver Plumbing and Heating Ltd, we are committed to delivering high-quality plumbing and heating services. We aim for complete customer satisfaction, but if there is a problem with the service provided, we have outlined our refund policy below.


 

1. Eligibility for Refunds

We will consider a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:

  • Workmanship issues: If the work we have carried out is found to be faulty due to our error and cannot be rectified within a reasonable timeframe.

  • Service not delivered: If a confirmed appointment is cancelled by us and no suitable alternative can be arranged.

  • Overpayment: If you have been incorrectly charged or overcharged due to a billing error.

     

2. Non-Refundable Situations

  • We do not offer refunds in the following cases:

  • If the issue is due to misuse, tampering, or third-party interference after the service is completed.

  • If the service was completed to an agreed standard and the issue is unrelated to our work.

  • Call-out fees where the service was declined upon arrival.

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) unless due to exceptional circumstances.

     

3. How to Request a Refund

  • To request a refund, please contact us within 7 days of the issue arising, and provide the following:

  • Your name and contact details

  • Date of service and address

  • A description of the problem or reason for the refund request

  • We aim to respond to refund requests within 5 working days.

     

4. Refund Process

  • If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method.

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

  • In some cases, we may offer a repair or credit note as an alternative to a monetary refund, subject to your agreement.

     

5. Consumer Rights

  • This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may contact a consumer advice service such as Citizens Advice or Trading Standards.
